A young girl learns the important lesson about what it means to be a part of her own family’s song. After creating an instrument from odds and ends she is ready for her big solo. But when disaster strikes and she can no longer play, will she still get to be a part of the song?
After playing music with my family for 15 + years I think it’s fair to say that it’s not just our love of music that keeps us going. Creating with your family, whether it’s music, art, or telling stories connects us to each other in ways that nothing else can. My wish is that this book would inspire parents and children to create and find that we are stronger when we make things together.
